SHAPE- LOWER BODY at SWEAT440
What it is:
This class takes you through high-intensity interval training (HIIT) circuits to shape the lower body, including the glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves, but it also gives your core a killer workout. Our trainers guide you through each 10-minute station with instructions on how to maintain proper form and technique, so that you mold any problem areas into the desired shape without injury or overexertion. Are you one of those men who skips “leg days,” or one of those women who wishes “leg day” was every day? Either way, this class will exceed your expectations! You’ll feel a difference the very first day!
How it works:
Our trainers set the stage with upbeat music and a high energy atmosphere, and then guide you through 3 sets of 12 lower body and core exercises that show you what you’re truly capable of. We combine cardio and resistance training so that you burn fat while you build muscle, a key strategy for either increasing bulk, or getting lean and cut, which is why it’s so effective. SHRED- LOWER BODY/CORE at SWEAT440
What it is:
Sometimes our leg muscles get hidden beneath excess fat. A certain amount of fat is necessary to protect our bones and muscles from injury. But if we’ve gained weight, we might need to shed some nonessential fat to let our muscles shine through again. Other times, our weight might be fine, but our muscles have acclimated to the workout, so they stop changing and growing. The SHRED class helps you get ripped by torching calories while strengthening the muscles at the same time. As you blast through fat, you begin to see the muscles in all their glory, ripped, lean, and shredded to perfection. Our class changes every day, so your muscles are too “confused” to get complacent!
How it works:
Through metabolic conditioning circuits, plyometrics, and agility exercises, each of our cardio movements also provides resistance, so that you’re increasing muscle definition even as you shred fat. Machines like Versa Climbers, Ski Ergs, TRX, and sleds create muscles as lean or as massive as you want them to be, based on your resistance and reps. This class format fuses high-intensity intervals with brief intervals of rest and core exercises to maximize calorie burn. This is a far cry from the spin classes or treadmill routines you’ve tried in the past. Yes, you’ll keep your legs moving and lean them out, but you’ll also be moving into a new station every minute, so you’ll get the most comprehensive workout your legs have ever seen. Need to lose a little weight to like your legs again? You’ll burn more calories than you knew you were capable of in this class.
How it works:
Our members call this class both a blast and a blur. You won’t believe how much you accomplish in just 40 minutes! Our trainers keep you hopping from one movement to the next, so you never get bored.
