How Do I Prepare for My First Sweat440 Class?
Before your first Sweat440 class, here are a few tips for what to expect so you can arrive confident, enthusiastic, excited and ready to SWEAT
Make sure you hydrate before, during, and after class. We’re serious about sweating at Sweat440!
what to bring
We provide towels. While we have waterbottles for purchase, We encourage you to bring your own reusable waterbottle.
dress to sweat
Wear comfortable activewear that you’re ready to sweat in, and supportive sneakers. We have showers so you can change back to dry clothes before heading off to work or continuing your day.

What Should I bring to class?
A reusable water bottle and a will to sweat! We supply towels…as well as lockers, to accommodate our friends coming from work, carpool (etc etc)
Am I ready for a Sweat440 class?
Don’t be intimidated ! We have alternative exercises at each circuit. Our instructors ask if you have any injuries or areas of concern at the beginning of each class: your health and safety is our #1 concern. We explain each exercise upon each circuit rotation.
How many calories does S440 burn?
You burn roughly 400-760 calories a class – but keep in mind the Afterburn Effect. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) burns calories for up to 48 hours after a workout!
What Should I Wear to Sweat440?
Athletic shoes and breathable clothing that you don’t mind getting sweaty.
What Time Should I arrive?
Since we start a new small group every 10 minutes, our class spots are first come first serve. There is no need to book a spot in advance, simply join us at the studio and our concierge will assist you. The longest wait time is typically 5-10 minutes to jump in a class.
Can I participate if I’m pregnant?
Please check with your doctor before participating in a Sweat440 session if pregnant. If you are given the green light by a medical professional, we encourage you to join us! Simply monitor your heart rate and only do what makes you comfortable throughout the session. We will help tailor your workout to accommodate your comfort.
