What is Sweat 440?
Sweat440 is a fitness center and a workout format designed to help busy adults succeed with their fitness goals in an efficient group fitness format. It revolves around flexible scheduling and a fun but effective workout program. Employing a unique circuit training concept and including the most effective HIIT training routines means a potent workout can be crushed in just 40 sweaty minutes!

Why should I go to Sweat 440?
At Sweat440, members participate in a small group fitness regimen that packs 4 stations into 40 minutes. When the group before you completes their first station then you can begin, and so on. This means every ten minutes, a new group of up to 10 trainees begins the 40 minute circuit. This structure keeps your workout on track and makes the most of each precious minute.
Not only will the Sweat440 format allow you to fit your physical fitness into your busy schedule, but it will improve the quality of your time spent in the gym. That’s what HIIT is all about: training your body in the best, most efficient way possible.
Why choose HIIT training routines ?
HIIT training has proven itself time and time again as one of the most effective methods to get toned and functionally fit in a relatively short period of time. The combination of intense workouts interspersed with short periods of active recovery burn more fat in less time, and keep your heart pumping throughout the entire workout.
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, has gained immense popularity over the last few years as the fitness community has augmented the classic concept of interval training. What can I expect from the HIIT stations?
There are four stations, each with a different fundamental purpose.
Station 1 includes mobility and warm-up training, to get your blood flowing and your body in top gear
Stations 2 and 3 combine strength and stamina, to give you the most well-rounded workout possible.
Station 4 includes true HIIT training focused on the core and consisting mainly of bodyweight exercises
Meet the men behind Sweat 440
Matt Miller, native of Laurinberg North Carolina, founded Miller sports and training center in 2009 with the vision of building a team of highly educated and qualified professional trainers that would bring their experience and expertise to high-end clientele in Miami Beach.
That vision has been realized and now serves over 100 clients in all parts of Dade and Broward Counties. Matt himself has over 14 years of experience training athletes, celebrities, professional models, and general fitness enthusiasts, helping them reach and surpass their fitness goals.
Matt’s unique, holistic approach to fitness and commanding knowledge of the human body gives him an unparalleled intuitive advantage when working with his clients.
Through hard work and dedication to the craft, Matt and his team of trainers will continue to stand out as a pillar of the South Florida health and fitness community for many years to come.
Cody Patrick native to Wyoming, is a well known figure in the fitness community. He opened his personal training studio now called SHIFT in 2010. He now has around 25 trainers working out of his facility. Cody has been in fitness since 1999 and has had great success and has developed a stellar reputation.
He holds degrees in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics and has a number of other certifications including American College of Sports Medicine, level 1 Myofascial Stretch Therapy and Kihara Level 1.
Cody takes pride in his work a truly loves what he does. He has been the trainer to some of Miami’s most prominent and influential figures since he moved here in 2004. He is also and accomplished athlete including completing the Ironman 140.2.
